The Nature Folder is back and this time, we’re going big. When I started this blog in 2021, it was focused on research, but they would follow the same patterns, it became stale and I lost interest. That’s why I’ve started Nature’s Cabinet of Curiosities. I want this to be a virtual natural history museum and these are my museums collections:
Hidden Wonders: The Secret Lives of Earth’s Rarest Animals
This collection focuses on the rare and critically endangered animals that are not well-known among people and would benefit from more awareness. At the end of the article will be a paragraph about how you can help from home and will direct you to a conservation charity that supports that species.
Nature’s Architects: Ingenious Animal Builders and Their Homes
The Grand Designs of the animal kingdom. This collection features animals that build intricate homes and nests. I believe that by seeing how complex some animals can build, you get a deeper appreciation for animals as a whole.
Winged Wonders: The Incredible Lives of Birds
This collection focuses on the interesting characteristics of birds from beautiful songs to diligent parenting. Birds don’t get nearly as much coverage as mammals and I want to help change that.
Tales From The Treetops: The Secret Lives of Forest Dwellers
From your classic monkeys, frogs and of course birds, we’re looking at species that live in the canopies.
Jungle Jewels: Biodiversity in Tropical Rainforests
Within the Amazon rainforest alone, there are three million species. I can’t cover all of them, but this collection will cover a few of the lesser known ones.
